Hello, I’m Ali Wehbi, a passionate and dedicated Software & DevOps Engineer with a strong background in building and optimizing scalable applications and infrastructure. I am also proud to serve as the Co-Founder and CTO of Programi Tech S.A.R.L, a dynamic technology company focused on delivering innovative solutions to businesses.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the Lebanese International University, where I graduated with a GPA of 3.18/4, earning a place on the Elite programming students’ list in 2015 and the Dean’s List in 2017 and 2019. These academic achievements reflect my commitment to excellence and my drive to constantly expand my knowledge in the field.
With several years of experience in the software development and DevOps industry, I have had the opportunity to work with renowned organizations such as TELUS Health, Cloudgate Consulting DWC-LLC, and Globalistic Tech Offshore. My roles have encompassed various aspects of software development, infrastructure management, and leadership, allowing me to acquire a diverse skill set and an in-depth understanding of the industry’s best practices.
As a Co-Founder and CTO at Programi Tech S.A.R.L, I have been instrumental in shaping the company’s vision and driving its technological advancements. I have led the development and implementation of cutting-edge solutions that address the unique needs of our clients. Through my role as the CTO, I have been responsible for overseeing the technical direction of the company, ensuring that our products and services align with industry trends and meet the highest quality standards.
My expertise lies in implementing and managing cloud-based infrastructure using technologies such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Microsoft Azure. I am well-versed in infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Docker, and I have a deep understanding of setting up robust CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins. Additionally, I have hands-on experience with microservices architectures, container orchestration using Kubernetes, and managing databases like PostgreSQL and MySQL.
Throughout my career, I have been actively involved in the complete software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and architectural design to deployment and maintenance. I have led teams, providing technical leadership and fostering a collaborative environment to ensure successful project delivery.
